LETTER OF ENROLMENT
Begin the Climb
Dear Parent,
Thank you for considering The Debate HQ for your child. Joining takes four steps, and nothing is owed until you decide.
You write to us. Send the consultation form. Our programmes and fees come back to you by email, within one working day.
We talk. If you’d like to go ahead, we set up a short, free Zoom call. We talk about your child, their experience and their goals, and I recommend the programme, the level and the group where they will grow fastest. There is no obligation.
You confirm. Your child’s place is confirmed once the first invoice is paid. Payment details come with the invoice.
We begin. Classes are live on Zoom, one session a week. Group programmes run in 12-week terms, or an 8-week block before the World Scholar’s Cup.
Yours sincerely,

Hassan Qaiser
Founder and Head Coach
Head Coach of Pakistan, World Schools Debating Championship, 2020 and 2024

Tap a question to open it.
Is it right for a beginner?
−
Yes. Every student is placed after the consultation, and the WSDC course has a Beginner level for students who are new to debate.
How big are the groups?
+
Small. WSDC groups are 6 to 15 students, depending on level, and World Scholar’s Cup groups 8 to 15. 1:1 coaching is one student with one coach.
Who teaches the classes?
+
Hassan teaches every class himself.
Is there a trial class?
+
There is no separate trial class, but the free consultation can include a short trial portion, so your child gets a feel for how sessions run.
When are the classes?
+
Days and times are confirmed in your fee email, and are set for families in Pakistan, Türkiye and abroad.
What does my child need?
+
A laptop or tablet with a camera, a quiet room and a steady connection. Cameras stay on.
Can I sit in?
+
Parents are welcome to observe 1:1 sessions. Messages about coaching go through you, or through an agreed group channel.
Are classes recorded?
+
Some are, so students can review them. We always say so before recording starts, and recordings stay with the group.

Billing
Fees are invoiced directly by Hassan Qaiser and are due before each month or programme block begins. Blocks of 8–12 weeks can be paid in full or in monthly instalments. This website doesn’t take payments.
Rescheduling
A 1:1 session can be moved with at least 24 hours’ notice; with less notice it may be lost. If we cancel a class, we reschedule it.
Missed group classes
These aren’t refunded, but the materials, and the recording where a class was recorded, are shared.
Leaving a programme
If a student withdraws mid-month, that month’s fee is non-refundable and no further months are billed. If a student withdraws mid-block, the current month’s payment is non-refundable and no further instalments are due. Where a block was paid in full, fees for the remaining whole months are refunded.
