2014 — EurOpen, Stuttgart — Winner & 3rd Best ESL Speaker

2015 — WSDC Singapore — Semi-finalist: broke 3rd on 8/8 wins, fell to eventual champions Singapore. Pakistan’s best result in two decades

2019 — United Asians Debating Championship, Hanoi — Octofinalist

As a Coach

School Programs

2016 — LGS 55 Main — one speaker on Pakistan’s WSDC team, one on the reserve team

2017–22 — Aitchison College — Junior Nationals champions 2020 with the event’s Best Speaker; national team & reserve selections across 2018–2020; multiple Pakistan Camp shortlists

2020– — ISL Ring Road — Best New School at Senior Nationals in year one. Year three: A team won 5 of 9 local titles including DSP Regionals on a 40-match win streak; B team won Senior Nationals unbeaten. Junior Nationals champions the same season — the first school in recent history to hold both titles at once, with three speakers on Pakistan’s WSDC team (a single-school first since 2008) and one on reserve. DSP Inaugurals champions 2023–24; two more national team selections and one reserve in 2024

2023– — ISL Pine Avenue — Senior Nationals semi-finals in the school’s first season; three students on Pakistan’s WSDC team

2024– — Trinity School Lahore — won DSP Inaugurals at first entry; a student on the Pakistan team ranked 2nd Best Speaker at AWSDC 2025 and 6th Best Speaker at WSDC 2025; four camp shortlists and a reserve selection in 2025–26

Pakistan National Team — Head Coach

2020 — 5/6 preliminary wins, octofinals at the first online WSDC. En route: LSE Debating Championship, LUMS IV, Shahjiwana International, UNSW Pre-Australs (ESL)

2024 — 5/8 preliminary wins, octofinals — eliminated only by eventual champions Scotland. Students won UPenn WSDC breaking first with three top-3 speakers, reached the finals of Princeton WSDC and Everest IDC, semi-finals at Transatlantic and AODC, with multiple top-10 speaker rankings
